《老友記》創作者道歉：不該缺乏種族多樣性……

據美媒Enews報道，近日經典美劇《老友記》聯合主創瑪塔·考夫曼因劇集缺乏種族多元性而致歉。

Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman recently apologized for the lack of diversity on the long-running sitcom.

當地時間6月8日，在ATX電視節舉行的一場線上女性對話論壇中，考夫曼表示，她希望當初自己可以知道現在所知道的，那樣她會做出不一樣的決定。

"I just wish I knew then what I know now. I would've made very different decisions," she said.

考夫曼稱，她在公司裏一直鼓勵僱傭不同種族的員工，但她覺得自己還做得不夠，如今她也會時時反思。

Kauffman added during the 2020 ATX TV Festival: "I mean we've always encouraged people of diversity in our company, but I didn't do enough and now all I can think about is, what can I do? What can I do differently? How can I run my show in a new way? That's something I wish I knew when I started showrunning."

《老友記》是一部經典的美國電視情景喜劇，由大衛·克萊恩和瑪塔·考夫曼共同創作，從1994年到2004年，共播出了10季。

據BBC報道，近年來《老友記》因缺乏多樣性而受到批評。

Despite its success, Friends has been criticised in recent years for its lack of diversity, even by its cast members.

今年早些時候，飾演主角羅斯的演員大衛·修蒙在接受採訪時提議進行更多元化的重新制作。

他說，也許可以再翻拍一部全黑人或全亞洲人的《老友記》。

In an interview earlier this year, David Schwimmer - who played Ross in the sitcom - proposed a more diverse remake. "Maybe there should be an all-black Friends or an all-Asian Friends," he said.

他說自己意識到了該劇存在缺乏多元化的問題，也曾爭取讓自己飾演的角色和有色人種女性約會。

他強調，能夠爲羅斯在劇中加入亞裔女性和非裔女性約會對象，是自己有意推動的，這也是該劇不斷進步的體現。

"But I was well aware of the lack of diversity and I campaigned for years to have Ross date women of colour," he said. "One of the first girlfriends I had on the show was an Asian American woman, and later I dated African American women. That was a very conscious push on my part."

而近期，劇中角色菲比的飾演者麗莎·庫卓在接受採訪時表示，如果當下重拍《老友記》，肯定不會是全白人陣容。

Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe, was recently asked what a modern-day reboot of Friends would look like and told The Sunday Times: "Well, it would not be an all-white cast, for sure."

但她也承認，該劇有時代特徵，“對我而言，這部劇應該被看作是時間膠囊，而不應苛責它做錯了什麼。”

However she added that the show was of its time: "I'm not sure what else, but to me, it should be looked at as a time capsule, not for what they did wrong."
