意大利52歲男子流血淚 就診後原因揭曉

The unnamed man, 52, is thought to have visited a hospital in the Sicilian city of Messina after blood started leaking from both his eyes.

這名不願透露姓名的男子現年52歲，據說在雙眼開始流血後，他就去了西西里島墨西拿市的一家醫院就診。

Initially, the bleeding only carried on for a couple of minutes before it stopped.

起初，出血只持續了幾分鐘就停止了。

However, while he was waiting to be seen by the medical staff it started again.

但是當他等待醫務人員的時候，血又開始流了起來。

Doctors discovered the man had non-cancerous tumors underneath his eyelids and diagnosed that he was suffering from a rare condition called haemolacria.

醫生髮現，這名男子眼皮下有良性腫瘤，並診斷出他患有一種叫做淚血癥的罕見疾病。

These tumors are made of blood vessel cells, which are often seen on the skin of children and are sometimes known as strawberry marks.
