非傳統性別解釋

Gender Fluid：流性人。在不同時間經歷性別認知改變的人。和Bigender（雙性人）不同的是，雙性人在兩種明確的狀態間切換，而流性人的變化是連續譜。

Pangender：泛性別。認爲自己是各種性別特質的混合體，每樣都有一點兒。

Cis：順性人。自我性別認定和出生時的生物性別相同的人。大部分人歸於此類。

Trans：跨性別。和順性別相對，自我性別認定和出生時生物性別不同。

Transsexual：變性別。不但自我認同性別與出生性別不同，還採取了醫學措施、改變了自己的生理和解剖特徵的人。

Two-spirit：兩魂人。來自北美原住文化的術語，“體內同時含有男人和女人靈魂的人”。和兩性人Androgyne基本同義，但和來自希臘文的冷冰冰醫學術語不同，這個北美詞語強調的是神祕主義和浪漫主義特性。
