Chinese universities record strong performance ingraduate employment, with 34 universities enteringthe world's top 500 universities for graduateemployability, a latest ranking showed.

一份最新榜單顯示，中國高校在畢業生就業方面表現出色，共有34所大學進入全球畢業生就業力500強院校。

Among the 34 universities, 22 are from the Chinesemainland, eight from Taiwan and four from HongKong.

在這34所大學當中，中國大陸佔22所，中國臺灣佔8所，中國香港佔4所。

Tsinghua University ranked ninth while Peking University took the 20th spot, according to theQS Graduate Employability Rankings 2019 released by Quacquarelli Symonds, a Britishcompany specializing in education.

根據這份由英國專業教育公司Quacquarelli Symonds(QS)發佈的2019年QS畢業生就業力排名榜，清華大學位列第9，北京大學則排名第20。

QS uses five indicators to compile the ranking: employer reputation, alumni outcomes, partnerships with employers, employer/student connections and graduate employment rate.

QS是依據以下5項指標編制了這份榜單：僱主評價、校友成就、大學與僱主合作關係、僱主與學生關係以及畢業生就業率。

In terms of partnerships with employers, Zhejiang University scored 99.9, ranking secondglobally, followed by Tsinghua University (99.8).

在大學與僱主合作關係方面，浙江大學得到了99.9分，位居全球第2，緊隨其後的清華大學則得到了99.8分。

Peking University, with a score of 93.7 in alumni outcomes, ranked first in China and No 25 worldwide.

在校友成就方面，北京大學得分93.7，位居國內第1、全球第25。

Overall, Massachusetts Institute of Technology has been crowned the best university in theworld for graduate employability for the first time, followed by Stanford University andUniversity of California, Los Angeles.

Berea College, a liberal-arts school in Kentucky that landed at No. 231 in the overall ranking, leads the list for best value because its expectation that students work on campus and itshefty endowment allow it to charge no tuition and keep its average net price at $2,862 forfirst-year students, according to federal data for 2015-16.

Its Carolina Covenant ensures debt-free graduation for students whose families earn less thandouble the federal poverty level, just under $50,000 for a family of four last year, and otheraid programs help even middle-income students. The school's average net price was just over $10,000.
