雅虎獲准減售阿里巴巴股權

Yahoo has made a deal to keep a greater share of its stake in Chinese ecommerce group Alibaba when it goes public in what is expected to be the largest technology initial public offering this year.

雅虎(Yahoo)與中國電子商務集團阿里巴巴(Alibaba)達成一項協議，將在阿里巴巴上市時保留更多阿里巴巴股權，出售股權的金額從2.08億股下降到1.40億股。預計阿里巴巴的上市將成爲今年規模最大的科技企業首次公開發行(IPO)。

The Silicon Valley-based internet company pledged to return half of the after-tax proceeds from the sale to shareholders in its clearest indication yet of its post-IPO plans, but it said it expected to pay full tax on this first tranche of shares.

雅虎承諾，將把來自股權出售的稅後收益的一半返還給股東，這是目前有關其在阿里巴巴上市後計劃的最明顯跡象，但雅虎表示，預計將就首批股權出售支付全額稅款。

The company reached its second agreement in a year with Alibaba to reduce the amount of the ecommerce group it will be forced to sell in the offering. It will now be required to sell just 27 per cent of its stake or 140m shares, rather than 208m.

雅虎與阿里巴巴達成了一年之內的第二項協議，將減少雅虎在阿里巴巴上市時被迫出售的阿里巴巴股權。雅虎現在僅需要出售自身持有阿里巴巴股權的27%，僅1.40億股，而非之前要求的2.08億股。

Investors have been buying into the company because of its 24 per cent stake in Alibaba, which is valuing itself at $133bn according to a recent US filing, rather than focusing on troubles in the core business.

投資者一直購買雅虎股票的原因是其在阿里巴巴的24%股權，而沒有關注雅虎核心業務的問題。根據最近一份美國上市申請文件，阿里巴巴對自己的估值爲1330億美元。

Marissa Mayer, Yahoo’s chief executive who joined the company to head a turnround attempt two years ago, thanked Jerry Yang, co-founder and former chief executive, for buying and championing the Alibaba stake. She also praised Jack Ma, Alibaba’s founder, and Joe Tsai, Alibaba executive chairman, and said the relationship between the two companies continued to improve.

雅虎首席執行官瑪麗莎•梅耶爾(Marissa Mayer)感謝楊致遠（雅虎聯席創始人兼前任首席執行官）購買並支持阿里巴巴股權。她還稱讚了阿里巴巴創始人馬雲以及阿里巴巴執行副董事長蔡崇信(Joe Tsai)，並表示兩家公司的關係繼續得到改善。
