【答案】

這十二道題考的還不完全是漢語和中國文化，有些題純屬新加坡文化，對中國人來說當然很陌生，比如第6題(新加坡藝術家郭寶崑的作品)。其他的題目有的很容易，也有的相當生僻。主辦方給出的標準答案附在後面，供各位參考。其中第9題(西方哪一個傳說與“何不食肉糜”類似)，答案是法國路易十六的王后瑪麗･安託瓦內特對飢餓的法國人所說的 "那就改吃蛋糕嘛"(Let them eat cake)。這句話的法語原文是qu'ils mangent de la brioche，brioche應該是“麪包”而非“蛋糕”(cake)。這只是一個民間傳說而已，渲染這位王后的驕奢與愚鈍。關於瑪麗･安託瓦內特，還有另外一個有名的傳說，當她在法國大革命中走上斷頭臺時不小心踩到劊子手的腳，她以貴族的優雅習慣地：Monsieur， je vous demande pardon. Je ne l'ai pas fait exprès (先生，我請求您的原諒，我不是故意的)。
