國家網信辦出臺新《通知》 加大力度整治虛假新聞

The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) is cracking down on fake online news and false coverage, the People's Daily reported.

根據《人民日報》日前報道，中國國家互聯網信息辦公室(網信辦)將整治網絡虛假新聞及不實報道。

The CAC said in a circular that all news websites must ensure the reports they publish are true, comprehensive, objective and impartial.

國家網信辦在一項通知中稱，各新聞網站須確保其發佈的新聞報道真實、全面、客觀、公正。

It forbids running news that sacrifices truthfulness for the purpose of being first, or directly quoting content on social networking platforms as news.

嚴禁在運營新聞時追求時效而犧牲真實性，嚴禁直接引用社交網絡平臺上的內容作爲新聞報道。

It is also mandating local cyberspace regulators to tighten up their supervision, to avoid distorted news coverage based on rumor or speculation. The circular has demanded that websites give credit to the original news source and bans publishing hearsay as news or distorting facts.

此外，該通知還要求當地網絡監管部門加強監管力度，避免基於謠言或投機的歪曲的新聞報道。通知要求網站標註新聞來源，嚴禁將道聽途說作爲新聞發佈或歪曲事實。

A number of heavyweight news portals, including , , , and were either fined or disciplined for running news that broke the rules, according to the office.

網信辦表示，新浪網、網易網、財經網、騰訊網、今日頭條網等不少有影響力的新聞門戶網站已因違規運營新聞而被罰款或處罰。
