菲律賓驚現世界最矮人 與玻璃瓶同高

He might only be slightly taller than a glass bottle, but Junrey Balawing is set to break big world records. The tiny teenager will soon be crowned the world's smallest man, standing at a mere 22 inches.

Junrey Balawing可能只比一個玻璃瓶高一點點，但這位身高僅22英寸的人即將打破世界紀錄，成爲“世界最矮人”。

The minuscule man from Zamboanga del Norte, in the Philippines, is already 17 years old but is just the same size as a one-year-old.

這個“小矮人”來自菲律賓北三寶顏，雖已17歲，看起來卻像個1歲的孩子。

He struggles to walk and can't stand for long, but he looks forward to wearing the crown with pride. "If I were the smallest man in the world, it would be very cool,"he said.

Junrey能蹣跚走路，但是不能久站。他很期望能獲得“世界最矮人”的榮譽稱號。他說：“我要成了'世界最矮人'，就太酷了。”

His mother, Concepcion, 35, says she noticed something was wrong as Junrey approached the age of two but no doctor was able to help.

Junrey的媽媽Concepcion,今年35歲，她說在Junrey兩歲的時候就覺察到他有些不對勁，但是沒有醫生能夠幫助他。

"He was always sick and we noticed he wasn't growing so we took him to see a doctor but they were baffled," she says.

Concepcion說：“他經常生病，我們也注意到他不長個兒，帶他去看醫生，醫生也束手無策。”

The family live in a very remote part of the Philippines, the nearest town is an hour away and they're 570 miles from Manila.
