中國中車在澳大利亞設立亞太總部和研發中心

A subsidiary of Chinese trainmaker, China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC), said it had established an Asia-Pacific headquarters and a research and development center in Australia.

近日，中國列車製造商中國中車股份有限公司的一家子公司對外宣佈，他們已經在澳大利亞設立了亞太總部和一家研發中心。

The Melbourne-based headquarters will help provide technology support for train design, manufacturing and maintenance in the region, according to CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Company in Northeast China's Jilin province.

根據位於我國東北吉林省的中國中車長春軌道客車公司透露，這一位於墨爾本的總部，將在設計、製造、保養維護上，爲該區域的列車提供技術支持。

"The office will create more job and export opportunities for local train manufacturers," said Wang Run, chairman of CRRC Changchun.

中國中車長春軌道客車公司的董事長王潤表示：“該機構將爲當地列車製造商創造更多的就業機會和出口機會”。

The office employs 41 local workers.

該機構目前已聘請了41名當地僱員。

In November 2016, CRRC Changchun signed a deal with Victoria to build high-capacity metro trains worth $1.5 billion, the biggest metro train purchasing project in the Australian state's history.

2016年11月，中國中車長春軌道客車公司與澳大利亞的維多利亞州簽署了一項協議，將建造價值15億美元的大容量地鐵列車，這是該州歷史上最大的地鐵採購項目。

CRRC Changchun has more than 18,000 employees and annually manufactures more than 8,000 trains.

中國中車長春軌道客車公司有超過18000名員工，並且每年生產8000多輛列車。
