什麼樣的女性臉龐纔算標準美女臉？國際美容整形外科學會(ISAPS)最新發表的一期刊物給出了答案。

根據對全球各國總共63名最漂亮的各種膚色女藝人臉型的分析，韓國整形外科教授李承哲用電腦合成了各人種的“標準美女臉”，並在國際學術雜誌美容整形外科學會學報(Aesthetic Plastic Surgery)上發表了名爲“最具魅力的臉龐” (Attractive Composite Faces)的論文。

Existing evidence suggests that the standards of faciAl attractiveness are similar across genders and cultures. On the other hand, Perrett et al. have insisted that highly attractive facial configurations are not an average. Many authors have reported that the average faces are different from attractive faces and that attractive faces differ considerably according to race. I agree with the opinion that the average face is not an attractive face and that the Most attractive face is the average of attractive faces.
現有證據顯示，不同性別、不同文化間對於迷人臉的標準非常相近。然而，佩雷特等人堅持認爲最具魅力的面部結構並非一樣。許多著書者稱平均臉不同於迷人臉，而迷人臉間的差異很大程度上取決於人種。我同意這一觀點，我認爲平均臉並不是迷人臉，而最具魅力的臉龐應該是迷人臉的綜合體。
