Take the spring festival as an example, traditionally, in the evening of the Chinese New Year eve, the whole family usually would have a reunion meal. But today all has changed. The most common look of the reunion meal now is that all young people eat quietly meanwhile the eyes are staring at their cell phone, checking out their “Friend Circle” to see if anyone update the status. They only make sounds when someone grab a red envelop with very lousy money in it. The old parents feel awkward when facing this weird situation, no one would even like to talk to them, the reunion meal turns out that there is just a bunch of strange people eating at the same table.
就拿春節來說，傳統上說，在除夕的晚上，全家人通常會在一起吃團圓飯。許多人也沒有真正經常呆在家裏跟家人在一起，尤其是跟老人們在一起，所以團圓飯尤其重要，大家可以一起聊聊天，享受在一起的時光。但是如今一切都變了。團圓飯最普遍的畫面就是，年輕人們都安安靜靜的吃飯，眼鏡死死的盯着手機，查看他們的“朋友圈”有沒有人更新狀態。只有在他們搶到一個紅包的時候纔會發出聲響，而紅包裏的錢少得可憐。老人們在面對這種怪異的場面時異常尷尬，沒人願意跟他們說說話，團圓飯變成了只是一羣陌生的人在同一張桌子吃飯而已。
And the TV shows are pushing this more far ahead. They will set some interactive sessions to encourage people use the social network service on their cell phone to get some bonus. So even TV time people still stick to their cell phone and have no word for others sitting around. Seems like the social network service is completely replace the normal communication offline. That will obviously ruin the relationship with family.

But apart from the bad management of the football association, I can see why Chinese football has always been weak somehow. When I was a high school student, I used to like playing football very much, and I liked to play it for one or two hours with my friends after school. I took it as a good hobby and it could help me keep healthy and active, but my teachers didn’t think so. They always took the study as the most important part in our high school age, they wanted us to focus on study, which meant to put every minute on the study. Furthermore, the year I went to senior grade, the school decided to block out the football field, no one was allowed to play football in it. This was definitely a disaster to Chinese football career.

So the betrothal gift was also called “bride price”. But this is not suitable for today’s situation. The young couple will always visit the parents and support them, it is unfair for the man to pay much money to the parents in law anymore.
聘禮在中國的舊時是新郎給岳父母用來感謝他們對新娘的養育之恩，而結婚之後，新娘便很少有機會回孃家看完他們。所以聘禮也被叫做“賣女錢”。但是這不適用於現代的情況。年輕小兩口還是時常看完父母贍養他們，這時男人還要給岳父母付很多錢就很不公平。
On the other hand, the bride’s parents requirement too much bride price would rise the conflict between two families and then hurt feelings of the young couple. The marriage would come to a crisis.
