商業道德能讓一個公司和員工以及顧客保持長期的合作關係。第一，一些老闆爲了賺更多錢，減少了員工的福利，這樣會引起員工對公司的不滿，員工會想要跳槽，這樣公司就要招聘新員工，重新培訓，很花時間和浪費資源，在變動期間，公司無法正常運作。第二，如果一個公司有聲望，顧客就會願意買這個公司的產品，和它保持合作。相反的，沒有人願意買一個不道德公司的產品，那些產品可能會質量不好，對人們的健康有害。
