舊金山冷知識：吉爾德利巧克力

去舊金山旅遊的時候，如果你想不好帶什麼伴手禮回來，那麼買吉爾德利 Ghirardelli 的巧克力通常是不會錯的。

事實上，據觀察大家去的時候也確實會帶這個回來，因爲真的適合送禮，而且可以買很多種款式，看着豐富。

吉爾德利是舊金山最有名的巧克力品牌，規模也很大，整個品牌的大本營現在就在舊金山的漁人碼頭，一整個街區都是他們的，這裏除了有巧克力旗艦店，還有很多相關的商店和餐廳，甚至還有五星級酒店。

Ghirardelli Square is a landmark public square with shops and restaurants and a 5-star hotel in the Marina area of San Francisco. In 1893, Italian immigrant Domenico Ghirardelli purchased the entire city block in order to make it into the headquarters of the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company. Visitors can still view the original chocolate manufacturing equipment while sampling gooey hot fudge sundaes and delicious squares of Ghirardelli milk chocolate.

吉爾德利廣場是舊金山馬麗娜地區地標式的公共廣場，那裏有商店和餐館，還有一家五星級酒店。1893年意大利移民多梅尼克•吉爾德利買下了整個街區，把它建成吉爾德利巧克力公司的總部。遊客在品嚐濃郁的熱澆聖代和美味的吉爾德利牛奶巧克力時，仍然可以看到原始的巧克力製造設備。
