致青春英語演講稿1

No young man believes he shAll ever die. There is a feeling of Eternity inyouth, which makes us amend for be young to be as one of theImmortal Gods. One half of time indeed is flown-the other half remains in storefor as with all its countless treasures; for there is no line drawn, and we seeno limit to our hopes and wishes. We make the coming age our own-

The vast, the unbounded prospect lies before us, including our dreams.

So I'll say:Concentrate upon your dreams and they will become materialactualities. Through concentration we work out our dreams in physical life. Yourfuture depends upon the dreams you are forming now. Your past dreams aredetermining your present. Therefore, if you want a bright future, you must beginto prepare for it today.

We say a man is as changeable as the weather. What is meant is his dreamschange. Every time you change your idea you think differently. You become like arudderless boat on an ocean. Therefore realize the importance of holding to yourdream until it becomes a reality .

Catch the star that holds your destiny, the one that forever twinkleswithin your heart. Take advantage of precious opporyunities while they stillsparkle before you. Always believe that your ultimate goal is attainable as longas you commit yourself to it.

Though barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams, rememberthat your destiny is hiding behind them. Accept the fect that not everyone isgoimg to approve of the choices you've made, have faith in your judgement, catchthe star that twinkles in your heart, and it will lead you to your destiny'spath. Follow that pathway and uncover the sweet sunrises that await you.

Take pride in your accomplishments, as they are stepping stones to yourdreams. Understand that you may make mistakes, but don't let them discourageyou. Value your capabilities and talents for they are what make you trulyunique. The greatest gifts in life are not purchased, but acquired through hardwork and determination. Finding the star that twinkles in your heart for youalone are capable of making your brightest dreams come true.

So don't think that you are neglected, or not understood, or notappreciated. zsuch thoughts are the thoughts of failure.

Don't pity yourself, criticise yourself. You know that the only thing inthe world that you have got to count upon is yourself.

Saying goodbye to childhood,we step into another important time in the paceof young, facing new situations, dealing with different problems……

everyone has his ownunderstanding of young,it is a period of time of beautyand wonders, only after you have

experienced the sour ,sweet ,bitter and salty can you really become aperson of time of young is limitted,it may pass by withoutyour attention, and when you discover what has happened ,it is always ping the young well means a better time is waiting for you in the nearfuture,or the situation may be opposite .

having a view on these great men in the history of hunmanbeing, they allmade full use of their youth time ,to do things that are useful to society, tothe whole mankind, and as a cosquence ,they are remembered by later

generations, admired by do something in the time ofyoung, although you may not get achievements as these greatmen did ,though notfor the whole word, just for youeself, for those around!

the young is just like blooming flowers, they are so beautiful whenblooming, they make people feel happy, but with time passing by,after they withers, moet people think they are so it is the same with young,we areenthusiastic when we are young, then we may lose our passion when getting olderand we must treasure it ,don't let the limitted time pass by ,leavingnothing of significance.

致青春英語演講稿3

“Once upon a time, there was a king who had a daughter as beautiful as ablooming rose. To all the suitors who came to the king's palace to ask for thehand of the princess, the old king assigned three tasks to be accomplished, eachnext to impossible. One day, into the king's palace came a handsome youngprince…" Well, you know the rest. The three tasks may be different in differentversions, but the main plot is always the same, with the prince claiming theprincess's hand triumphantly.

And the ending is always the same, finishing with the line "And they livehappily every after."

Why aren't we tired of something so fanciful, so unrealistic, and, I wouldsay, so unimaginative? How can a story like that endure generations ofrepetition`? Because, I think, it is a typical success story. It is highlyphilosophical and symbolic. By implication, we see a 4-step definition ofsuccess: 1 ) a goal to be set. as represented by the beautiful princess; 2 )challenges to be met, as represented by the three tasks; 3 ) the process ofsurmounting difficulties, as represented by the ordeals the youth goes through;and 4 ) the reward of success, as represented by the happy marriage.

The story not only caters to everyone's inward yearning for success, butalso emphasizes the inseparability of the process and the result. The reward ofsuccess will be much amplified if the path leading towards it is treacherous, and vice versa. If a person inherits his father's millions and leads an easylife, he is not a successful person even in material terms, because there are nodifficulties involved in his achieving affluence. The term "success", to besure. will not sit still for easy definition. But as I understand it, the truemeaning of success entails a combination of both the process and thesatisfactory result of an endeavor. To clarify my view, let me give anotheranalogy.

If we changed the rules of football, greatly enlarged the goal and sentaway David Seaman or any other goal keeper, so that another David, namely DavidBeckham, could score easily, then scoring would not give him the thrill ofaccomplishment and the joy that it brings. If we further changed the rules bynot allowing Arsenal's defenders to defend, so that Beckham needed only to lifta finger, actually a toe, to score, then there would be no game at all, becausethe meaning of winning would have disappeared. In accepting the challenge, insurmounting the difficulties and in enduring the hardship, success acquires itsvalue. The sense of attainment varies in proportion to the degree ofdifficulties on overcomes.

The concept of success is not constant but relative because the nature ofdifficulty is also relative. Something you do effortlessly might pose a greatdifficulty for a handicapped person. In acquiring the ability to do the same asyou can, he or she achieve success. That's why we greatly admire StephenHawking, because, though confined to a wheel chair, he has contributed greatlyto the field of science.

I myself, a rather shy person by nature who easily suffer from stagefright, had to pluck up great courage to take part in a speech contest likethis. I could have stayed away and had an easy time of it by not entering theuniversity level I chose to accept the challenge and to face thedifficulties. Now here I am. If I come out first, it will be a great success forme. If I come out last-I hope this will not be the case-but if I come out last,I will not call my attempt a failure, but will also celebrate it as a truesuccess, because part of my goal is my own character training-to do moreassertive, to be brave in face of difficulties. For me, it is a meaningful stepforward, small as it is, in the long journey toward the final success in mylife, because I have truly gained by participating.

Let us return to our handsome young prince and the 4-step definition ofsuccess. You my have noticed that the usual worldly criteria of wealth, positionand fame were not mentioned as part of the story, but rather, it emphasized theprocess of overcoming difficulties. The ancient wisdom had already defined themeaning of success, and this is my definition, too.

Thank you.

first i want to ask you some questions:

1、 do you know what is youth?

2、 how do you master your youth?

youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is thefreshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of theappetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we growold by deserting our ideals.

years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul y , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure ofwonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the gameof living . in the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and powerfrom men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows ofcynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but aslong as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you maydie young at 80.

thank you!
