形容詞的比較等級的用法講解

形容詞：描述事物的特徵、性質、類屬、狀態等內容的一類詞，主要用於修飾、豐富、限定名詞的內容。

形容詞在進行程度比較時可分成3個級別：原級、比較級、最高級。

原級：as+形容詞+as ……跟……一樣……

not so(as)+ 形容詞+as ……沒有……那樣……

比較級：比較級形容詞+than… 比……較……

最高級：the+最高級形容詞+of(in) 在……當中最……

1.原級的用法

肯定式：

Daughters are as good as sons.

女兒同兒子一樣好。

Women are as clever as men.

婦女和男人一樣聰明。

Fire is as red as blood.

火與血一樣紅。

否定式：

You are not asthin as your father.

你沒有我父親那樣瘦。

Mary is not sotall as her sister.

瑪麗沒有她姐姐那樣高。

The village is notso poor as before.

這村莊沒有以前那樣窮了。

注意：原級形容詞後面可以接名詞，如果接單數可數名詞，冠詞a不能放在該形容詞或者as前面，必須放在形容詞後面。

接名語：

She wants as much orange juice as you.

她想要同你一樣多的桔子汁。

接單數可數名詞：

√Tom is as good a teacher as his father.

湯姆是一個同他父親一樣好的老師。

×Tom is as a good teacher as his father.

×Tom is a as good teacher as his father.

2.原級可以用倍數修飾

My bog is three times as large as yours.

我們的袋子有你的袋子的3倍大。

That apple is not half as sweet as this one.

那個蘋果沒有這個的一半甜。

The rocket is 8 times as fast as the plane.

火箭的速度是飛機的8倍。

3.比較級的用法

Her voice is louder than yours.

她的聲音比你大。

My bike is older than yours.

我的單車比你的舊。

More than 200 students were present.

超過200名學生到場。
