　　一般現在時的基本用法

①一般現在時常表示經常發生的動作或經常存在的狀態

如:I go to school every day.

我每天上學.

②表示此狀態時,常和always,often,usually,everyday,sometimes等表示時間的狀語連用,有時候時間狀語可以不表示出來

如:Where do you live?

你住在哪裏?

③由when ,while,before,after,until,as soon as 等引導的時間狀語從句亦可用一般現在時態表示經常發生的動作或是狀態.

如:Make hay while the sun shines.

要趁熱打鐵

④連詞if 引導的條件從句有時也可用一般現在時表示經常發生的動作或存在的狀態

如:If you do not like it you may lump it.

不喜歡就忍着唄

⑤一般現在時常用於以下情況

表日常行爲:

如:The boy wake up at seven a'clock,wash ,dress quickly and run into the dining room for wait until they hear the bell and then go to school.

這些男孩7點起牀,洗漱完畢,很快地穿好衣服,就到食堂去用早餐,然後等上課鈴一響就去上課.

表習慣,能力等:

如:Do you drive,Joho?

Joho,你會開車嗎?

表客觀存在:

如:Fire burns

火會燃燒(表客觀事實)

The earth moves round the sun.

地球圍繞太陽旋轉(表客觀真理)

報紙,雜誌,書籍不強調過去時間,單純表示客觀事實(即所載文字依然存在)時候,也可用一般現在時態

如:What does the newspaper say?(是什麼時候的練習題目吧)

　　一般現在時的具體用法

1. 表示經常的或習慣性的動作，常與表示頻率的時間狀語連用。

e.g. I leave home for school at 7:00 every morning.

2. 表示客觀事實和普遍真理。

e.g. The earth moves around the sun.

3. 表示現在發生的具體動作或存在的狀態

e.g. He lives in Beijing now.

4. 習慣性的愛好或行爲

e.g. I like dancing while she likes singing.

5. 表示預先計劃或安排好的行爲。

e.g. Our class begins at 7:45.

6. 在時間狀語從句和條件狀語從句中，常用一般現在時代替將來時。

e.g. If you come, we will wait for you.

7. 表示格言或警句中。

e.g. Pride goes before a fall.　驕者必敗。

8.表示主語具備的性格、能力、特徵和狀態。

e.g. I don't want so much.

Ann Wang writes good English but does not speak well.

比較：Now I put the sugar in the cup.

I am doing my homework now.

9.在時間狀語從句和條件狀語從句中，常用一般現在時代替將來時。

10.小說故事用一般現在時代替一般過去時。新聞報道類的內容，爲了體現其“新鮮”性，也用一般現在時來表示過去發生的事情。

11.有些表示狀態和感覺的動詞表示現在發生的具體行爲時，只用一般現在時，而不用進行時態。

注意★：此用法如果出現在賓語從句中，即使主句是過去時，從句謂語也要用一般現在時。

例：Columbus proved that the earth is round.. 第一句用一般現在時，用於操作演示或指導說明的示範性動作，表示言行的瞬間動作。再如：Now watch me,I switch on the current and stand back. 第二句中的now是進行時的標誌，表示正在進行的動作的客觀狀況，所以後句用一般現在時。
