英語四級翻譯常見錯誤

2020年12月12日四級考試即將來臨啦~今天小編給大家分享的是需要注意四級翻譯考試中經常會出現的一些錯誤，力爭在自己的譯文中避免出現這些錯誤，從而切實做到 “知己知彼百戰不殆”，共總結爲以下十類錯誤：

(一)主謂一致

例如，Those students who was previously transferred to city schools for better education are now Moving back to their local rural schools. 在該句中，those students表複數意義，所以從句中應相應使用were與之搭配。

(二)詞性誤用

例如，the possibility of nuclear accidents can be reduced to a minimize level. 因爲劃線部分在冠詞"a"後，名詞"level"前，所以此處應爲形容詞，而非動詞minimize，所以將其改爲minimum.

(三)標點符號

例如，More and more young people are interested in Chinese tourism, this is a new trend in recent years.在例句中，this爲代詞，不能連接兩個獨立的句子。可在後一分句前添加and，變爲一個完整的句子;或可添加which變成從句;也可將逗號變成分號或者句號。

(四)名詞單複數

例如，Nowadays, tea has become one of the most popular beverage in the world. 在“be one of the+形容詞最高級+名詞複數”結構中，其中的名詞一定要用複數形式。因此，需要將beverage變爲beverages.

(五)混淆詞義

例如，Tea drinking reached Japan in the 6th century…原句爲“飲茶在六世紀傳到日本……”，其中“傳到”表示“傳播”的含義，而“reach”表示所能達到的範圍或距離，用在此處並不能體現“傳播”的意思，因此，需要將其改爲was spread into/或was introduced into.

(六)形容詞作主語

例如，The growing popular of the Internet results in great social changes. 單一的形容詞是不能作主語的，popular是形容詞，要將其改爲名詞popularity 或popularization.

(七)雙謂語錯句

例如，Chinese netizens are usually differ from American netizens. 在例句中，differ from本身就可作謂語動詞，所以不必再加be動詞。可將錯句中的are去掉，或將differ改爲形容詞different.

(八)邏輯錯誤

當分詞或分詞短語作狀語時，考生容易將其邏輯主語和主句主語混淆，出現主語前後不一致的情況。例如，Having used to cure pain, a Chinese emperor discovered the tea more than 5000 years ago. 在例句中，have used的形式說明動作已經發生在discover之前，根據常識，茶被發現以後，才能用來治癒疾病，二者有先後關係。錯句將先後關係顛倒，發生了邏輯錯誤。因此，需要將前後語序調整，處理爲"Having discovered the tea more than 5000 years ago, a Chinese emperor used tea to cure pain."。

(九)介詞短語後動名詞的使用

例如，It has been listed as an endangered species due to the number is limited. 在例句中，due to相當於because of，as a result of，其中to是介詞，後跟名詞或動名詞，不接從句。因此，需要將從句改爲名詞性短語。

(十)直譯

例如，"In China, some people make bread with flour, but for most people, they use flour to make Mantou and noodles."“饅頭”爲中國特色詞彙，但是目前已經擁有固定的譯法—"steamed buns"。
