所謂“起-承-合”結構，就是先回答問題，然後沿着這個方向順着往下再說幾句。後如果有必要還可以再總結一句，不過後的總結很多時候是可以自然省略的。

再比如下面這個考題：What do you think of traveling?

下面的7分答案就是典型的“起-承-合”式。

Traveling is ... fun ... stimulating. I feel energized when I travel... Also, I make friends during trips to other places. And of course, as they say, traveling expands your outlook... I guess that's exactly why so many people travel around these days.

再看一個6分水平的“起-承-合”式答案可能是這樣的。這道題：Do you like shopping?

“起-承-合”結構的優點：邏輯比較簡單明白，向同一個方向展開內容就可以了。

“起-承-合”結構的缺點：口語不太好的同學有時候會發現答案說不長。但客觀地說如果您的口語目標只是6分，答案本來也不需要很長，基本平均說起來2-3句話的答案應付一個chat已經足夠。當然長度只是一個方面不是機械的，更重要的是要看內容和英文表達方式。
