英語六級語法複習之in的4大用法

一、介詞
1.在某個範圍內一點：These boys like playing in the street. 這些男孩喜歡在街上玩。
2.在某物形體內：There is a book in the desk. 書桌裏有一本書。
3.進去：After I got in the car, my father drove off. 我上車後，爸爸就開車了。
4.包含在…內：We all know there are thirty-one days in January.我們都知道一月份有31天。
5.在某段時間內：
in+年份：in 2016 在2016年
in+世紀：in 21st century 在21世紀
in+季節：in summer 在夏天
in+月份：in April 在4月份
in+上午/下午/晚上：in the morning 在上午
6.在某段時間以後：I will come back in a few hours. 幾小時以後，我就回來了。
7.穿着: That boy in a black hat is my brother. 那個帶黑帽子的男孩是我弟弟。
8.用以描述具體的環境：They just cried in the darkness. 他們只是在黑暗中哭泣。
9.表示狀態：Please keep your books in order. 請保持書本整齊。
10.表示工作或職位：He is in business. 他從商。
11.表示某物的形式、形狀、安排或數量：The students sat in rows to listen to the story.學生生一排排坐着聽故事。
12.表示語言和材料等：Please answer the question in English. 請用英語回答這個問題。
13.在…方面：China is a country rich in culture.中國是一個文化豐富的國家。
14.當…時：
In crossing the street, he saved a student who was in danger.
在過馬路時，他救了一名處於危險中的學生。
15.用於比率或相對數：one in five 五分之一
16. in that 原因是：She passed the exam in that her friend helped her a lot. 她能的原因是她朋友幫了大忙。
二、副詞
1.在裏面： Some people like drinking coffee with sugar in. 有些人喝咖啡喜歡加糖。
2.進入：Please open the door and go in.請把門打開，然後進去。
3.在家，在工作單位：Nobody was in when we arrived home.當我們到家時，家裏沒人。
4.當選：He may get in at the last election.他也許能在最後一輪選舉中當選。
5. 詞組：
be in for sth 即將遭受不愉快的事情 be in at sth 在…發生時在場
get in on sth 參與，瞭解 be in with sb 與某人十分友好
in and out 時常出入
三、形容詞
流行的，時髦的：Blue is in in this summer.今年夏天流行藍色。
四、名詞
have an in with sb 對某人又影響 the ins and outs of sth 全部細節
除了以上用法外，in還大量運用在動詞短語中，如deal in……因此，該詞雖小，用法卻多，範圍極廣。
