職場英語：如何在英文面試中脫穎而出

我們通過對大量面試資料的分析，發現一些典型的問題在各種面試中反覆出現，恰恰是這些看似平常的問題使許多應聘者失去了得到理想工作的機會。所以在面試篇中，我們將逐個對這些常見的面試問題進行講解，並提供得體應答例句。

　　一、WHAT TO TAlK ABOUT 如何介紹?

你可以選擇三個重點來介紹自己，但避免重複履歷中曾提及的資料。

Around this skeleton should be the meat of your answer; your less obvious, but important skills. Here are some of the skills that you might want to mention. 你可以介紹自己是：

1. Problem solver 解決問題能手

2. Creative thinker 充滿創意

3. Accurate 小心謹慎

　　This doesn't mean that you just say, "I'm a great problem solver." Instead, explain how you used your problem-solving skills at your previous job. 事例比自我誇耀更能說明問題。

　　自我介紹的時間不要過長，最好是一至三分鐘。最初你可能會覺得時間太長，但當你真正要介紹自己三項特質時，你就會發現時間不夠用了。

　　二、WHAT TO SAY 應說什麼?

What you actually say, in terms of the words you use, is something that you have to decide. You need to create an answer that sounds natural and, at the same time, interesting. 背答案估計沒有人願意聽。The way to determine whether your answer is natural is simply by writing a first draft of the answer and then read it out loud. When you do this, you'll probably spot things that you have to change.

Here are some final things to think about when answering the question "Tell me about yourself."

當你構思答案時，你要想想應該如何說出，內容要令人感興趣，不沉悶，避免滔滔不絕地只說自己的強項。

1. Mention major awards or accomplishments that relate to your career;闡述工作上的重要成就或獎項

2. Promote your strengths, but do not mention any of your weaknesses;推銷自己的長處，但不要提及自己的弱點

3. Try to be funny if you can, but don't force it;可以的話，儘量說得幽默有趣

4. Summarize your career and education, but don't recite a list;概括說出你的工作經驗和學歷，但切勿背誦

5. Don't start with your date of birth;不用提及你的出生日期

6. Avoid information that is not career-related. The fact that you own a dog won't get you a job避免說一些與職業無關的事，例如：你有一隻狗，這並不能爲你爭取到工作

7. Always answer this question經常思考和解答這條問題

8. Try to sound natural對答要自然
