A:I have found it quite different here from China since I came to the United States.

A:我到美國後已經發現這裏和中國太不一樣。

B:What's the difference ?

B:什麼不一樣？

A:Some friends of mine took me to the mall to go shopping. It was so big. I think I could get lost if I went there alone.

A:我的朋友帶我到購物中心去買東西。那裏太大了，我想如果我一個人去的話可能會迷路。

B:You must have bought many things in the mall?

B:那你肯定在購物中心買了不少東西吧？

A:Not really many. I was told that on weekends there were always the flea markets, so I decided to come to the flea market to buy a bargain.

A:並沒有多少。我得知週末總有跳蚤市場，所以我就想到跳蚤市場上淘點便宜貨。

B:It's wise to do it. The Americans have the habit of selling their junk when they are moving to another place, so they usually display all the things they want to sell in their gardens at the weekend. And many things they are selling still look quite new and they are also very useful.

B:這樣做很聰明。美國人有搬家賣舊貨的習慣，他們經常會在週末把要賣的東西擺在他們家的院子裏。而且很多東西都很新，很實用。

A:I have heard about it while in China. it is called a "yard sale". I didn't have any idea of that until today when I came here to the big "yard sale".

A:我在中國時就聽說過這個叫做“庭院舊貨出售”的詞。直到今天我到過這個大型的“庭院舊貨出售”，對它纔有所瞭解。

B:You must have got many useful things for your new apartment.

B:你肯定爲你那新公寓房添置了不少有用的東西吧。
