1. 習慣用語

serve sb right

2. 解詞釋義

Right在這個短語中用作副詞，修飾動詞serve。從在字面上看，該習語是指“不幸的事情應由某人承擔”，由此引申爲“活該，最有因得”。

e.g.Serve him right; he should arrange his affairs better.
