新聞熱詞：惹禍上身的“保險費”

一則駭人聽聞的報道：爲了得到30萬元保險理賠金，吉林樺甸市一對母女設計了一個陰謀，給有自殺傾向的女鄰居投保，在連續繳了兩年保費後，發現鄰居仍活得好好的，她們竟然在其飯菜中投毒，導致鄰居家12歲的兒子身亡……

“保險”應該是大家最爲熟悉的經濟名詞，藉助這則新聞，我們可以區分兩個“保費”——insurance premium（投保人向保險公司交的保險費）；insurance compensation（受保人遭遇事故後，保險公司向投保人支付的保險理賠金）。

報道中，母女兩人最初爲了得到insurance compensation（保險公司支付的理賠金），就設計爲鄰居投保，向保險公司交付insurance premium（保費）。但因鄰居後來仍好好活着，母女不但得不到insurance compensation（理賠金），還得倒貼insurance premium（保費），由此，才醞釀了這起謀殺事件。
