Blair puts preassure for Georgina to making amends for her past bad behavior by helping her in an evil plan. The rivalry between Nate and Chuck over Blair reaches a boiling point. Lily makes a secret plan to help Rufus with Dan's college tuition.

Dan: Well, it looks like we're not gonna have to wait until next fall for Serena to ditch. She's skipping brunch.
Rufus: Oh, I'd really hoped we'd all be together.
Dan: Y... you know what? Let me see what I can do. I mean, she's generally not a Morning person, but show up with a bone dry cappuccino, and she'll pretty much follow you anywhere.
ditch: to get away from (a person, especially a companion).
a morning person: 早起的人

Dan: Gabriel is a con artist. His... his investment was a scam. He took all the money for himself, including my Dad's.
Lily: Oh, my god.
Dan: Yeah. Uh, Serena thinks she can somehow sweet-talk him into giving everything back, but I mean, r... seriously, I... I don't think Blair and Chuck can scheme their way out of this one.
con artist: con是confidence的縮寫，confidence artist或者confidence man指的就是詐騙犯。這個單詞最早出現在對一個叫做William Thompson的審判中。Thompson常常和陌生人搭訕，直到騙取他們信任，接着就問他們是否信任他並把他們的手錶交給他(if they had the confidence to lend him their watches)，之後他就拿着手錶走人。後來是有一個之前的受害者在路上認出了他，他才被繩之以法的。
scam: 和con一樣，都表示騙局，詐騙的意思。另外還可以說：swindle, grift, bunko 或者flim flam
sweet-talk someone into: 甜言蜜語，連哄帶騙說服某人

mark: 容易被騙的人，通常是一個騙局裏的初級目標，騙子就靠他來接近終極目標。
score: 這裏就是目標，獵物的意思

Nate: But why would Poppy stay in town after what she did?
Serena: Well, she has to if she's gonna play the victim. She... she wants us to think Gabriel fooled her, too.
Chuck: She wants money. All we need to provide is some sap she thinks she can get it from.

sap: 俚語傻瓜的意思。或許有同學會知道，SAP是一個軟件公司的名字，名氣還挺大，我第一次知道SAP有“傻瓜“的含義，還是他們公司的員工自己調侃的時候告訴我的。

Blair: She thinks Gabriel took the fall. All she's worried about right now is party invitations and keeping a front row seat at Bryant park.
take the fall: to get arrested for a particular crime, especially when others are going unpunished for the same crime. 做別人的替罪羊
Bryant park: 紐約的布萊恩公園，是每年紐約時裝週的舉行地。這裏意思就是說Poppy現在最關心的是她能否被社交圈接受，還有沒有可能拿到時裝秀的前排位置。

Serena: Uh, I'm in the elevator. I'm losing you. Sorry.
I'm losing you: 這句話超實用的，表示“信號不好(比如在電梯裏)，我聽不清楚你說什麼”或者是“要斷線了”類似的意思。

get you in: 讓你入夥，讓你加入。get in這種詞組，看英文很容易理解中文意思，但是真的要等我們用英文表達出這個中文意思的時候，卻常常會“卡殼”，所以建議大家平時多留意一下這類小詞。

"The Wrath of Con" Is a direct reference to the Star Trek movie, "The Wrath Of Khan".
