H:The machine didn't recognize my passport.
C:I can help. Where are you flying to today?
H:Rio/Recife. We're flying to Rio and then we'll have a connecting flight to Recife.
W:what are you looking for?
H:My reading glasses.
W:They are on you head.
H:I had a bottle of water.
W:I threw that away.
H:Why?
W:You can't take liquids on the plane.
C:Are you checking any bags?
H:Yes. Just one.
C:Can you put it on the scale?
H:Sure. Can you check our bag through to Rio?
C:No, I can't. You'll need to pick it up in Rio to go through customs.
H:How much time do we have? How long is our layover?
C:About two and a half hours.
W:That's plenty of time.
C:Here are your boarding passes. Your fight leaves from gate 19 and boarding begins at 11:20. Have a great trip.

三、生活表達 ＋ 習語俚語
1. Cross something out 把…劃掉
例： Cross out your old address and write the new one. 把你的以前舊地址劃掉，然後寫上這個新的。
2. get to the point 直接說重點。
例：I can't talk because I have a lot to work to do, so could you "get to the point" of what you want to say. 我現在沒時間聊，我有很多事情要做。你能不能直接說重點啊。
y laundry 私人的醜事
例：You shouldn't post all your "dirty laundry" on Weibo for everybody to read. 你不應該把你所有的私人的醜事都讓到微博上讓大家去看。
