Sometimes the hardest part of talking to people is figuring out how to start the conversation. This can be particularly intimidating when you want to talk to someone that you have not previously met. Here are some conversation starters:
有時候，與人交談中最困難的部分是如何開始談話。當你想和一個你此前從未見過的人交談時，可能會特別膽怯。這裏有些開啓談話的妙方：

Make eye contact and offer a smile

確認眼神+微笑

You need to find someone ‘available’. Making eye contact will lead you to the person who’s also willing to talk. And after you offer a smile, try to strike up a conversation.

Find some common ground

For example, when you are waiting in line at a coffee shop, you could say to the person in front of you, "What's good here? I've never tried any of their specialty drinks."
