各種錢的英語叫法

1. 1美元(a dollar)還叫做a single, a buck, a bill.

5美元的說法有five dollars, a fiver, a five spot, five bucks.

10美元的說法有a ten, ten bucks, a ten spot, a sawbuck, a teener.

2. 5分：nickel, jitney/jit

10分是dime，賣便宜東西的店叫dime store，也叫five-and-dime，five-and-ten-cent store，ten-cent store

25分=quarter，50分=half dollar=half-buck

3. 表示錢的詞還有bread

He earns his bread by writing.

他通過寫作賺錢。

4. dough：（生麪糰）錢或現金

in the dough: 興旺，有錢

5. green back：因鈔票背面爲綠色，因而得名“美鈔”

treasury bond：國庫券

6. a dime a dozen: 太普通了，不值錢，太多了。
