head for還是head to(towards)

head for還是head to(towards)

head 用作動詞時，可以表示“朝某方向行進”。如：Where are you heading [headed]? 你往哪兒走? Our ship headed south. 我們的船朝南開。若要具體表示去某個地方，其後可接介詞for, to, towards，其原則區別是：表示目的，用for；表示方向，用to, towards。如：We had better head for home. 我們還是回家吧。He headed straight for the bar. 他徑直朝酒吧間走去。We were heading towards Paris when our car broke down. 我們在去巴黎的路上車子出了毛病。
