英語寫作技巧之主題句原則

一、不管是大學四級寫作考試，還是我們所接觸過的初中、高中或者大學的英語寫作考試中，考試評分的依據首先就是：文章切題、條理清楚、語言準確、字數符合要求等等。文章切題說的就是我們這裏提到的主題句原則。主題句是用以概括文章的中心思想，內容核心，作者的寫作意圖，表達的思想感情等的句子。

二、主題句主要有四種表現形式：第一種，以段落首句的形式表現出來。
第二種，以段落中間的某一句話表現出來。
第三種，以段落末句的形式表現出來。
第四種，段落中沒有，需要用自己的語言表達出來。

三、在這裏，我們提倡的是第一種或者是第三種保守的主題句原則寫作方法。因爲放在文章的開頭或者結尾，可以讓考官或者讀者一目瞭然，可以增加文章寫作的分數！例如：
1.To begin with, you must work hard at your lessons and be fully prepared before the exam(主題句). Without sufficient preparation, you can hardly expect to answer all the questions correctly.
首先，你必須努力學習功課，充分做好考試前的準備。
2.It goes without saying that successful business lies in a healthy body and mind. (主題句)
不用說，成功的事業關鍵在於健康的身心。
3.In my opinion, playing video games not only takes much time but also is harmful to our health.(主題句)
就我的看法，打電子遊戲既花費時間也有害健康。
4.In order to enrich our campus life, our school has decided to hold various activities. (主題句)
爲了豐富校園生活，我校決定舉行各種各樣的活動。
5.There is no doubt that near-sightedness is a serious problem among the youth of our country. (主題句)
毫無疑問，近視在我國的年輕人當中是一個嚴重的問題。
6.With the rapid development of our country’s economy, a lot of social problems have come to arise.(主題句)
隨着國家經濟的快速發展，許多社會問題產生了。
7.In the age of information and communication, the computer plays an extremely important role.(主題句)
在這信息的年代，計算機扮演着非常重要的角色。
