　　共享單車公共自行車服務 Public Bicycle Service

Welcome to Hangzhou. I am Li Yue, president of the Student Union in my school. I'd like to briefly introduce the Hangzhou Public Bicycle Service to you. Our city insists to protect the environment, so we began to use the Public Bicycle Service to reduce the traffic stress in 2008. There were 65 thousand bicycles for people to use in daily life. In general, more than 8 million people have to use them every year.

Some people think they are very useful and believe they will make our society more beautiful. Others think they are not convenient enough. As far as I can see, reading a bicycle is so interesting. We can take exercise with it. Meanwhile, Our environment get protected. Let's go into action!

　　霧霾來襲 The Haze Has Come

When winter comes, the topic of haze will never be ignored. When it comes, many pictures will be showed. People make fun of these pictures and they actually laugh at themselves, living with these poison air. Even in the daytime, people can’t see their faces beyond 10 meters. Many schools choose to stop the class and let the students stay at home. It is obvious that haze is a great threat to people’s health. This new type of destruction is the result of polluted environment. Businessmen chase for the profit and take the cost of polluting the environment. Now their offspring have to suffer from it. It is never too late to do something to protect our earth.

當冬季來臨的時候，陰霾的話題永遠不會被忽略。當霧霾到來的時候，人們會爲它拍攝很多圖片，之後再取笑這些照片。但是他們實際上嘲笑的是他們自己，因爲他們生活在這些有毒的空氣裏。即使在白天，如果超過10米的話，人們都會看不見他人的臉。許多學校選擇停課，讓學生呆在家裏。很明顯，霧霾嚴重威脅到人們的健康。這種新型的破壞是環境污染的後果。商人們追求以污染環境爲代價的利潤，現在他們的後代都得遭受到惡果。現在爲保護我們的地球付出努力還爲時不晚。

　　談談學習的目的 The purpose of study

I am a student. And I know every student need to go to school for almost 20 years, if a student go to university or college after high school, he or she will stay in school for 5 more years. So precious is time that we cannot afford to waste it. But there is a question. What's the point of doing all this? What's the purpose of study?

In my point of view, nothing is more importance than to receive education. The magic of education can make person intelligence, smart, and reasonable. Physics and chemistry can help you to understand the world. Math can help you to be smart and train your brain. Art, IT, and planning can help you to learn some important skill in tomorrow's world. Language can help you to community with others.

So the reason why we are learn in school for such a long time is because you will understand that no subject you are taking is a waste of your time.

Math, physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science are researched by all human in the past. On the other word, it is human culture we are learning. But the most important thing is these results were discovered by the people in the past. Right now, we just have to understand it. How simple is that?

In all, learning things from school is not only for you can survive in the society in the future, but also a study of a human race.
