It is curious that our own offenses should seem so much less heinous than the offenses of others.I suppose the reason is that we know all the circumstances that have occasioned them and so manage to excuse in ourselves what we cannot excuse in others.

寬容是一種修養，更是一種美德。寬容不是膽小怕事，而是海納百川的大度。做人要學會寬容。

寬容應是“嚴於律己，寬以待人”。輕易原諒自己，那不是寬容，是懦弱。“寬以待人”，也要看對象，寬容不珍惜寬容的人，是濫情;寬容不值得寬容的人，是姑息;寬容不可饒恕的人，是放縱。所以，寬容本身也是一門學問。

天地如此寬廣，但還有比他更寬廣的東西——人心。讓我們學會寬容吧!

Tolerance is not only a kind of accomplishment,more than a kind of be tolerant does not mean being so timid,instead of it,it means magnanimous by keeping an open mind.
