　　快樂寒假 Happy Winter Vacation

The Spring Festival is the Most important traditional one in China. As an important part of it, fireworks bring us happier atmosphere than usual. This Spring Festival, Dad bought lots of fireworks as last year. On the eve, he lighted them, and then they blossomed like flowers in the sky, with sweet sounds and brilliant light. How beautiful! I was deeply moved, though every Spring Festival I felt it. It brought me the beautiful feelings. At that moment I was buried in the sea of happiness. And also it made me feel more about the prosperity of our homeland.

春節是中國最重要的傳統。因爲它很重要，煙花給我們帶來比往常更快樂的氣氛。今年春節，爸爸就像去年一樣買了很多煙花。在除夕夜，他點燃了它們，然後它們在天空中就像盛開的花朵伴隨着甜蜜的聲音和耀眼的光芒。好漂亮啊!我深深地被感動了，儘管每年的春節我都是這樣覺得。它給我帶來了美好的感情。在那一刻我感覺我葬在幸福的海洋。它也使我感到了祖國的繁榮。

Meanwhile, I was worried about the fireworks. First, setting off firecrackers made a tremendous noise and caused serious air pollution. Also children's safety faced the crisis of getting burned or injured in the eyes. What's worse, many dustmen's valuable time was wasted for fireworks pieces after being set off dirtied the environment.

同時，我也擔心的煙花。首先，放鞭炮製造巨大的噪音，造成了嚴重的空氣污染。孩子們的安全面臨被燒傷或眼睛受傷的危險。更糟糕的是，許多清潔工人的寶貴時間是被浪費在清理煙花爆竹的燃放後弄髒的環境。

So I thought some day we'll have to forbid making and setting off fireworks, though it's a Chinese custom for hundreds of years.

　　我的寒假生活 My Winter Holiday

During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new year and other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown in the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, so that I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this small village in the past years. Almost every family in the village had color TV set and some of them had computers. Many families had their houses newly built or rebuilt. Previously,could be seen everywhere, but now they have taken on an entirely newlook. Motorcycles or even private cars are not luxuries any more.

寒假期間，因爲春節和其他原因我很開心。假期期間，我父母和我回到河北的鄉下老家。我已經好幾年沒回去了，所以看到過去這些年這座小村莊發生的巨大變化我感到很驚訝。幾乎村裏的每一戶人家都有彩電，有的還有了電腦。很多家庭都有了新建的或重建的房子。以前，老式瓦房隨處可見，但是現在它們看上去完全是一幅新的景象。摩托車或者甚至是私家車也已不再是奢侈品了。

One of the villagers proudly told me that he and some other villagers were going to join a tour and travel abroad. Previously, the villagers were busy in their farm work all the year round, but now they have much more time and money to relax or entertain. Traveling has become a new trend among villagers. Seeing these amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown as soon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.

一位村民驕傲地告訴我他和其他一些村民跟團出國旅遊了。以前，村民們一整年都忙於農活，但是現在它們有更多時間和錢去放鬆娛樂。旅遊已經成爲在村民當中已經成爲一種新潮流了。看到這些驚人的變化，我爸爸說他一退休就想回到家鄉。而我也強烈支持他的觀點。

　　一個慵懶的寒假 A Lazy Winter Holiday

This winter is freezing cold. I didn’t have any desire to go out for play. I always stayed at home. Actually, most of the time I was in my bed. When I felt anxious for staying inside too long, I will go near the window to wach the children building snowman or throwing snowballs. It seemed very interesting. But I just didn’t want to go out. Later my mother found that I was so lazy. Then she forced me to go out. Since my mother said, I have no excuse to reject. My mother is right. Though the outside was icy, it’s fantastic. Everything smells fresh. Since then, I went outside everyday, and then did my homework and felt full of energy. The holiday ended very soon. It was a lazy holiday.

今年冬天是寒冷的。我沒有要出去玩的慾望。我總是呆在家裏。 實際上，大多數時候我是待在牀上。由於在室內待的時間過長而感到煩躁時，我會走近窗戶看看在外面堆雪人打雪仗的小孩子。看起來非常有趣。但我就是不想出去。後來我媽媽發現我的懶散了。然後她就強迫我出去。因爲我媽媽已經開口了，所以我沒有理由拒絕。我媽媽是對的。雖然外面是冰冷的，但是感覺非常棒。在外面的一切都是新鮮的。自那時起，我每天都會出去，之後回來做作業，我也覺得充滿活力。很快假期就結束了。這是一個慵懶的假期。

　　最後的幾天 The Last Few Days

Now the winter holiday will pass soon, I suddenly remember that I haven’t finished my homework yet and answered my friend’s invitation. So in the last few days, the first thing I need to do is to spend some time with my friends, because she had asked me to barbecue with her families. I am so happy to say yes and look forward to spending the time with her families. Homework is always my nightmare. I am lazy and won’t face it until the last minute. My parents always remind me of my homework and I respond them with the good words. My mother will check my homework before I go back to school. So I must finish it in two days. It is a tough task but I have to burden it. I won’t break my words to my parents.

寒假很快就要過去了，我突然想起我的作業還沒有完成而且我還答應了朋友的邀請。在最後的幾天裏，我需要做的第一件事就是花一些時間與我的朋友在一起，因爲她邀請我與她的家人一起去燒烤。我很開心地答應了，也很期待和她家人在一起的時光。至於作業，永遠是我的噩夢，我很懶，不到最後一刻不願面對。我的父母總是提醒我要做作業，我也總是用好話來答覆他們。媽媽會在我回學校之前檢查我的作業。所以我必須在兩天內完成。這是一個艱鉅的任務，但我必須要完成。我不會對父母說話不算數的。
