Christmas is the most important festival in the western world. It falls on December 25th. When my mother and I stayed in America, we were invited by one of my mother's friends to have Christmas with an American family. We bought some presents for our American friends on our way to their house.
They had prepared different kinds of gifts for their family and guests when we got to their house, such as Christmas candles, cakes, cards, little toys, biscuits and so on. A Christmas tree was placed in the comer of the brilliant hall. How beautiful it was! We were impressed by these. We had a big meal. After dinner, they told us some interesting stories about Christmas. We learned that Christmas had something to do with God. We went to bed at midnight. Though we knew the Santa Claus was not true, we were still waiting for the Santa Claus with white beard to bring us we received many beautiful presents the next morning.
This Christmas was really unforgettable. Not only did I have a good time, but also I knew something about foreign culture.

說起聖誕節，我們印象最深的是那一位聖誕老人，那可是一位非常和藹可親的老人，有求必應，而且會送給孩子們一些禮物;還有就是聖誕老人給的聖誕禮物，那可都是一些我們喜愛的東西物品。
今年，我們學校的六年級搞了一次聖誕聯歡會，引得其他年級的學生全都跑去觀看。我也去參觀了，覺得他們搞得真是不錯。
六(1)班裏上面掛着一盞盞一閃一閃的熒光燈，可漂亮了!上面還掛着許多布制的、紙折的、塑料做的物品。有的六年級班級還裝飾了一棵聖誕樹。樹上面掛滿了許多彩燈，小禮物。六年級的每一個班級裏面都有一位學生裝扮成了聖誕老人。他們戴着聖誕帽，嘴上粘了一把雪白的大鬍子，身上穿着一件大衣，真象一位聖誕老人。三四年級的學生看見了全都叫他聖誕老人，還向他要禮物呢!害得這幾位六年級的大哥哥全都哭笑不得。
我看見六年級那邊非常熱鬧，就回到自己這一邊向對面望。因爲我們與他們同在三層樓上面，只是隔了一個天井。我看見他們的活動搞得非常好，真想走過去和他們一起玩，一起說笑。可是，六年級那一邊的人實在太多了，擠都擠不過去，犯不着和他們一起擠壞教學樓了!
我真想對我們的班主任老師說一聲明年的十二月二十五日的聖誕節上，我們也能夠過一次這樣的聯歡會呀!
