Candidates at an Indian army recruitment day in Bihar were made to take a written exam in their underwear to prevent them from cheating, according to reports, after a spate of exam cheating scandals in the eastern state.
據報道，因印度東部省份比哈爾此前爆出了大規模考試舞弊醜聞，所以當地近日在舉辦軍隊招募考試時，爲防止作弊，要求考生只能着內褲參加筆試。Images in the Indian Express showed dozens of men sitting cross-legged in a field wearing only underpants, with many resting their test papers on their thighs, while a uniformed supervisor stood guard.
《印度快報》發佈的照片顯示，幾十名男性考生只着內褲盤腿坐在一片空地上，他們腿上放置着考卷，一名穿着制服的考官警惕地站在他們前面。The paper quoted an army source as saying they took the radical step to "save time on frisking so many people" after more than 1,000 candidates turned up.

"We had no option but to comply with the instructions even though it felt odd," one candidate told the paper.

An army spokesman in New Delhi refused to comment on the report.
