傳說中的波西米亞就是捷克

時尚界和一些歌裏常說的波西米亞，實際上就是捷克在古代的名字。

捷克最初建立的時候叫波西米亞公國 Duchy of Bohemia

Originally formed in the late ninth century, the Czech state was first known as the Duchy of Bohemia under the Great Moravian Empire. It was formally recognized as part of the massive Holy Roman Empire in 1004 and became the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1198. As the kingdom of Bohemia, it reached its zenith of wealth and power during the 13th and 14th centuries. By 1526, along with the Archduchy of Austria and the Kingdom of Hungary, the Crown of Bohemia was gradually integrated into the Hapsburg Monarchy.

捷克成立於9世紀晚期，最初是受大摩拉維亞帝國統治的波西米亞公國。捷克在1004年被正式公認爲神聖的大羅馬帝國的一部分，1198年成爲波西米亞王國。波西米亞王國的財富和權力在13世紀和14世紀達到了頂峯。到1526年，波希米亞王國與奧地利大公國和匈牙利王國逐漸併入哈布斯堡君主國。
