古埃及的節日流傳至今

雖然古埃及的語言已經失傳，但有不少文化傳統流傳到了今天。

現在很多埃及傳統和節日都可以追溯至法老時代。如今的埃及是一個融合了古埃及文化、伊斯蘭教文化和很多現代國家元素的國度。

有一些古埃及的節日現在依舊在慶祝，比如祭祀太陽神的太陽節 Sun Festival

每年的二月和十月，埃及人都會在古埃及最大的神廟“阿布辛貝神廟”裏慶祝這個節日，這現在已經是個很有名的旅遊項目了。

According to ancient Egyptian mythology, the sun god was the most important deity for the ancient Egyptians. Celebrated at the biggest temple of the ancient world at Abu Simbel, the Sun Festival is celebrated in February and  October when the sun rays reach the innermost sanctums of the temple and only the statue dedicated to the god of darkness remains in the dark. This statue has never seen sunlight in over 3,200 years!

在古埃及神話中，太陽神是最重要的神。每年的二月和十月，在古埃及最大的神廟“阿布辛貝神廟”裏，當陽光能照射到神廟中最深的聖所、只剩黑暗之神的雕像還在影子裏的時候，人們會在這慶祝太陽節；這座雕像在這3200多年裏從未見過陽光！
