冰島冷知識：火山很多
別被冰島的名字騙了，冰島熱乎着呢，這裏的活火山超多。
而且多虧了這個，冰島的地熱能超級豐富。
Iceland is also known as the “The Land of Fire and Ice” being home to more than a hundred volcanoes, dozens of which are still active, and glaciers covering nearly ten percent of the island. There is a volcanic eruption every 4 years on average. Roughly 85 percent of Iceland’s energy is from renewable resources, and well over half of that is geothermal alone.
冰島有“冰與火之地”的別稱，擁有超過一百座火山，其中有幾十個都是活火山；然後國土又有差不多10%被冰川覆蓋。這裏平均每4年就有一次火山噴發。冰島的能源有差不多85%都是可再生能源，其中又有一大半是地熱能。
