Muqiao's primary school may be the smallest in China - there are only two students and one teacher!
木巧小學或許是我國最小的一所學校，它僅有兩名學生、一名老師！Yang Jinhua is the sole educator at the village school, located in Tonggu county of Chongqing Municipality.
這所學校位於重慶市銅鼓縣，楊金華是這裏唯一的教師。The 53-year-old has been teaching at the school for 35 years, ever since he graduated from college at the age of 18.
現年53歲的他，自18歲那年大學畢業，已在這裏執教35載。
Yang is so dedicated to the school that he has pledged not to leave even if only one student remains.
楊老師堅守崗位，兢兢業業，誓言即使全校只剩下一名學生，他也要將教育工作進行到底。
He has also crafted an iron hub from a car tire into a bell to hang at the school's entrance. He tolls the bell before every class.
他拿廢棄的汽車鐵輪轂做了口鐘，懸掛在小學門口。每堂課開始前，他就敲響鐘聲提醒大家進入課堂。Yang is not only in charge of every subject, but also has numerous extra duties.
除了各科教學外，楊老師還要負責很多其他事情。For example, he maintains the mountain road so that heavy rains will not prevent the kids from making their way to the classroom.
比如，下大雨時候，他要確保學生上學的山路不會發生意外。He rejected the opportunity to teach at a bigger school as he believed children who live in the remote area are too young to walk for hours to get an education.
他拒絕了去往更大學校教書的機會，因爲他認爲住在偏遠地區的孩子還太小，不能長途跋涉數小時去往別的學校學習。Because he chose to stay, local children have the chance to attend school near the village.
而正是由於他選擇留在這裏，當地的孩子纔有機會就近唸書。
