普林斯頓大學教授迪頓獲諾貝爾經濟學獎

Princeton University Professor Angus Deaton has won the 2015 Nobel Economics Prize "for his analysis of consumption, poverty, and welfare."

A statement issued by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said by linking detailed individual choices and aggregate outcomes, Deaton's "research has helped transform the fields of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and development economics."

Deaton, a British and U.S. citizen born in Scotland, has been a Professor of Economics and International Affairs at New Jersey's Princeton University since 1983.普林斯頓大學教授安格斯·迪頓“因其有關消費、貧困和福利問題的分析”獲得2015年經濟學獎。

瑞典皇家科學院發表的聲明說，迪頓研究通過將詳細的個人選擇和總體結果連接起來。他的研究幫助改進了微觀經濟學、宏觀經濟學和發展經濟學。

迪頓在英國蘇格蘭出生，現已加入美國國籍，1983年以來一直在位於新澤西州的普林斯頓大學擔任經濟和國際事務問題教授。
