華裔女演員汪可盈談更改姓氏 稱好萊塢是種族主義者

Hollywood's only Chinese-American superhero has stirred up heated debate on social media after she spoke out against discrimination in American show business.

近日，好萊塢唯一一名華裔超級英雄演員在社交媒體上引發了激烈的爭論，此前她大膽發聲反對美國演藝界內的歧視。

Chloe Bennet, a Chinese-American actress who stars in Marvel's trending TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., explained on social media why she changed her last name from Wong to Bennet, arguing that Hollywood is "racist" and wouldn't cast her with a last name that made them "uncomfortable."

主演熱門電視劇《神盾局特工》的華裔美國女演員克洛·貝內特在社交媒體上解釋了她將自己的姓從“汪”改爲“貝內特”的原因，稱好萊塢是“種族主義者”，不允許她有一個令他們不舒服的姓氏。

"Changing my last name doesn't change the fact that my BLOOD is half Chinese, that I lived in China, speak Mandarin, or that I was culturally raised both American and Chinese," replied Bennet.

貝內特說道：“改了我的姓並不能改變我的血液有一半是中國人、我在中國居住過、說漢語、接受中美文化的事實。”

Racial barriers have been a crucial problem in Hollywood.

種族間的隔閡已經成爲好萊塢的一個關鍵問題。

According to research conducted by the University of Southern California in 2015, nearly three-quarters of all characters in the top 100 films of 2014 were white, while only 5.3 percent of Asian artists can share the same privilege.

據南加州大學於2015年展開的調查顯示，2014年排名前一百部的電影裏的人物，近四分之三是白人，僅有5.3%的亞洲演員享有同樣的特權。

In another report released in 2017, only 3.4 percent of over 1,000 surveyed films had an Asian director.

Bennet's experience has led to heated debate on both Chinese and foreign social media. As of press time, over 17 million netizens have viewed the hashtag WangKeYing (Chloe's Chinese name) on Sina Weibo, leaving over 14,000 comments supporting the actress.

貝內特的經歷在中國和國外社交媒體上引發了激烈辯論。截止發稿前，有超過1700萬的網友在新浪微博上瀏覽了汪可盈（克洛的中文名）這一標籤，他們留下了超過1.4萬評論來支持她。
