國產水陸兩棲飛機AG600首次水上試飛成功

The world's largest amphibious aircraft, the AG600, carried out its first takeoff and landing on waters in Jingmen, Hubei province last Saturday.

上週六，世界最大水陸兩棲飛機AG600在湖北荊門實施首次水上起降。

Developed and built by the State-owned aircraft giant Aviation Industry Corp of China, the seaplane took off from the Zhanghe Reservoir at 8:51 am and stayed airborne for about 15 minutes.

這架由國有飛機巨頭中國航空工業集團有限公司研製的水陸兩棲飛機當日8時51分在漳河水庫起飛，在空中翱翔了約15分鐘。

The AG600 made its maiden flight in late December in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, taking off and landing at an airport.

去年12月底，AG600在廣東省珠海市某機場實施首飛起降。

Development of the AG600 was approved by the central government in June 2009. Construction of the prototype began in March 2014 and was completed in July 2016.

2009年6月，中央政府批准研發AG600。原型機的建造於2014年3月開始，並於2016年7月完成。

The AG600 will mainly be tasked with performing aerial firefighting and maritime search and rescue.

AG600將主要執行空中滅火和海上搜救任務。

It can also be refitted to conduct marine environmental inspections, marine resource surveys, anti-smuggling operations as well as personnel and supply transportation.

此外，該飛機還可以改裝，用於進行環境檢查、海洋資源調查、反走私行動以及人員和供應運輸。

When assigned to fight forest fires, it can collect 12 tons of water from a lake or sea in 20 seconds and then use the water to douse blazes over an area of about 4,000 square meters.

當被派去撲滅森林大火時，AG600可以在20秒內從一個湖泊或海洋中汲水12噸，然後用這些水來撲滅大約4000平方米的大火。
