顧客對顧客(C2C)市場是一種使顧客間相互交流的創新方式,傳統市場的形式是企業對顧客的形式,也就是顧客前往賣家來購買物品或服務。在C2C市場,顧客能夠相互交易。其他類型的市場包括企業對企業(B2B), 企業對消費者(B2C)。京東本身就是B2C平臺。

拍拍網之前由騰訊經營,但是在去年騰訊購買了京東15%的股份之後併入了京東。京東表示關閉拍拍網是在對抗其層出不窮的假冒僞劣產品背後的無奈之舉。

京東解釋說這是因爲C2C的店主不必簽訂工商管理局的有關文件甚至可以逃避常規檢查。在C2C網站上販賣山寨產品的店主幾乎不必承擔任何後果。
