Prosecutors in Turkey are seeking the extradition of NBA player Enes Kanter over his support for Turkish cleric Fethullah Giilen, according to media reports.
據媒體報道，土耳其檢察官正在尋求引渡NBA球員 恩尼斯·坎特，原因是他支持土耳其牧師Fethullah Giilen。The Turkish government is also seeking an international arrest warrant for Kanter through Interpol, an international police group, according to The Wall Street Journal.
據《華爾街日報》報道，土耳其政府還正在通過國際刑警組織尋求對坎特的國際逮捕令。Kanter said he feared he could be attacked or killed over his opposition to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan if he were to travel to London.
坎特說，他擔心如果前往倫敦，他可能會因爲反對土耳其總統雷傑普·塔伊普·埃爾多安而遭到攻擊甚至是殺害。
Kanter, a vocal critic of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has feuded for years with the Turkish government, which alleges that Kanter is a terrorist because of his support for Guilen.
坎特公開批評土耳其總統雷傑普·塔伊普·埃爾多安，多年來一直與土耳其政府針鋒相對，土耳其政府也因爲他支持Guilen，將他列入恐怖分子的名單之中。Guilen is accused by Turkey of orchestrating a failed coup against in 2016. Turkey has sought the extradition of Gulen. who also lives in the U.S.

In response to reports of his arrest warrant, Kanter wrote on Twitter that the Turkish government"can NOT present any single piece of evidence of my wrongdoing"
