《Truly Madly Deeply》，這首歌是在Darren和Daniel外出時，寫給Darren的妻子Colby的歌曲。《Truly madly deeply》以其優美的旋律，在美國Billboard榜上爭取到了第一的位置。後來這首歌曲在1998年的世界榜上排名第二，僅次於歌后Cillion Dion的《My heart will go on》這首由於好萊塢一個大片而走紅的歌曲。

SG於99年11月推出了最新專輯：《affirmation》，這張專輯中有兩首膾炙人口的打榜歌曲《The animal song》、《I knew I loved you》，其中《I knew I loved you》是繼《Truly Madly Deeply》之後又一首美國billboard榜的冠軍歌曲，而且同樣是以描寫pure love爲主題的。

1998年4月，《Truly Madly Deeply》連續5周成爲Billboard hot100中點播率最高的歌曲，並統治了Billboard成人音樂榜達11周之久。

野人花園(Savage Garden)是一組已經解散的澳大利亞雙人音樂團體，由主唱戴倫·海斯(Darren Hayes)和吉他手兼鍵盤手丹尼爾·瓊斯(Daniel Jones)組成。

1993年澳大利亞布里斯本的Red Edge樂團徵求主唱，當時任幼兒教育老師的戴倫·海斯在報上看到了徵人啓事，便去應徵。他與吉他手丹尼爾·瓊斯一拍即合，加入了Red Edge擔任主唱。不久他們創作了第一首歌曲：A Thousand Words，後來戴倫·海斯及丹尼爾·瓊斯就離開了Red Edge，組了自己的樂團。

戴倫·海斯當時着迷於安·萊斯的吸血鬼編年史系列小說，其中的《夜訪吸血鬼》和《吸血鬼黎斯特》都提到了Savage Garden，那是一個蠻荒、嗜血的失樂園，後來他們就用Savage Garden當成樂團的名稱。
