Good afternoon ，ladies and gentlemen!
I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! To begin with,I want to ask a question everybody dream a good dream last night?Actually ,today I want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want totalk is not a dream you have last night,but a dream—— about life.
Everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different lifestage,and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reachin the sky,but like most mariners(水手),we can chart our course by them. With thedream,we have a direction,with a direction, we were no longer thedream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight.
But I know，life is tough,and there are always ups and downs, maybe we failin the way to our aims,and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, thedream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to moveahead .
Young!Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing isimpossible.I firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. If
I can't realize my dream,it result from that I haven't work harder enoughand I won't find other excuses. If no people believe you, you can make it toprove that you are right. If you think the god haven't blessed you and there isno truth here, you can become the god and create the truth.
"My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword isfamous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains." At some time inthe past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Eachachievement results from my hard work. I always believe that "If you want tohave more achievements than others, you must work harder."

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m very happy to be making a speechhere. Today my topic is “Tomorrow will be better. ”
China born and China bred, I love China very much. I’m proud that I havegot the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that Ispeak the most beautiful language in the world——Chinese. When I heard thatChina, our motherland, would have a chance to hold the 2008 Olympic Games, Ifelt very happy and excited, and I hoped I could do something useful to buildChina into a beautiful and energetic country.
In the 21st century, the environment is becoming more and more important,so we have "Green Olympic" as a slogan. Of course a slogan is just a goal. Themost important thing is that we should do some things to make it true. Such assorting the trash, saving the energy and so on. We are still students now, so wecan't do anything really big, but if everybody does something good for ourenvironment, we could make our motherland more beautiful.
In fact, the things we can do are easy. Like not littering used batterieseverywhere, sorting the trash that we want to throw away, and also protectingthe animals and plants around us.
Luckily, I had a chance to take part in an activity, that is, we planted 5trees everybody in our campus. My classmates and I worked very hard. Thisactivity is not only about planting trees, but also contributing to ourenvironment. Look at the trees, I believe, tomorrow there will be more trees andflowers standing in our campus and giving Chinese people a beautifulenvironment.
We are all Chinese people, living on the earth. We have only onemotherland——China, just like we have only one earth. If we don't beautify ourenvironment, who will? Good environment depends on good human consciousness. Weshould say that protecting our surroundings is not easy, that's why I'm standinghere to summon people do it.
If we do this from the bottom of our hearts tomorrow, China will be morebrilliant, it will have blue skies, white clouds and cleaner rivers. Who doesn'twant China to become more and more beautiful? If we do our best, tomorrow willbe better!

In the State of e was a man who wanted to go into town to buyapair of new shoes.
鄭國，有個人想去城裏買一雙新鞋子。
Before leaving home, he measured his foot with a piece of straw r he arrived at the town and entered a shoe shop, he put his hand intohispocket only to find that in his haste he had left the measurement eupon, he turned round and started for when he rushed back totheshoeshop with the measurement, the shop had a result, he hadsuanwenwbusied himself for nothing.
他離家前先用一根稻草量了自己的腳，把他當作尺碼。他到了城裏，走進鞋店，伸手摸口袋，從發現因爲急着趕路，把尺碼忘在家裏了。於是，他轉身就往家裏跑。可是等他拿着尺碼趕回鞋店的時候，店已經關門了。結果，他白忙了一陣子，還是沒有買到鞋子。
Later, someone asked him:” Were you buying shoes for yourself or forothers?”
後來，有人問他：“你是給自己買鞋，還是給別人買鞋?”
He answered:” For myself.”
他回答說：“是給我自己。
Someone else asked him:” Don’t you have your feet on yourself? You needonlyto Try on shoes with your feet to get the right did you go backhome tofetch the measurement? “
別人又問他：“腳不是長在你自己身上嗎?英語小短文只要用你的腳去試試鞋子的大小，不就可以了嗎?爲什麼還要回家去拿尺碼呢?“
The man of Zheng insisted:” I would rather trust the measurement than myownfeet.”

Now I know that there are no times in life when opportunity, the chance tobe and do gathers so richly about my soul when it has to suffer cruel everything depends on whether I raise my head or lower it in seeking ever I am struck down, in the future, by any terrible defeat, I will inquireof myself, after the first pain has passed, how I can turn that adversity intogood. What a great opportunity that moment may present……to take the bitter rootI am holding and transform it into fragrant garden of flowers.
