1.剛到美國家庭寄宿的時候，家裏的一個小孩給我打招呼：What's up?我擡頭看看上面，很迷茫的說：Roof。

2.美國同事問我中午吃了啥?我想說，吃了餐館打包的東西(應該是doggy bag)話到嘴邊變成了dog food。他看着我狂笑三分鐘。

3.剛來美國第一天，搬完東西剛好遇到老美室友回來了，當時大汗淋漓，打完招呼我就說了一句“I'm so hot!”說完感覺怪怪的。

Tips：能不怪麼?第一天見面就說自己火辣!英文裏hot可以用來說人“性感”、“火辣”。我很熱應該爲"It’s so hot!"

4.打電話叫taxi，對方問：Where're you from? 我回答：China，心裏還在想，叫個出租車還要問國籍嗎?然後對方說：Well, you are going to China by…bus?後來我才明白人家是想問我去哪來接……

5.第一次去上課，沒睡醒，搞不清狀況，進了一個教室，課桌是椅子連着桌子的，老師統稱課桌爲table，給學生安排座位會說：“You can sit on that table. ”然後我就當着全班的面，坐到了桌面上。

6.去英國時坐飛機，空姐倒完水之後我說Thanks，空姐說Cheers，於是我就對她舉了舉杯。空姐當時就驚呆了...再之後從海關到機場大巴司機，一路上都有人跟我說Cheers，我就疑惑了啊，我這手裏也沒杯子啊怎麼cheers?!
