殺手的復仇

馬克森總是夢見同一個地方。

這很奇怪。但每當早上醒來後，他便顧不上這麼多了，因爲他還有更重要的事要做：復仇。

他曾是一個無憂無慮的孩子，直到三年前他全家被殺，只有他在國外上學，因而逃過一劫。當他得知這個噩耗後，立即中斷學業，立志做一名殺手，爲自己的家人報仇。

現在，他站在一個古老的莊園前。莊園矗立在一個小山坡上，十分寧靜祥和，俯視着一片片樹林。主人一定花了不少心思來打整莊園，一切都如此平靜，像在夢中一樣。他深吸一口氣，敲響了門。

門開了，一個兩鬢斑白的老人迎了出來，微笑着說：“你一定就是馬克森了，快進來。”

他的和氣讓馬克森有點迷惑，這是那個殺害自己全家的兇手嗎?

沒錯，就是他。這是他一直尋找的仇人。

“馬克森，你的信上說你想要和我決鬥?”老人和藹地說道。

“是。”馬克森一個字都不想多說。

“要不先吃點東西?畢竟你走了這麼久，而我卻一直在這裏等着。這對你來說不公平。”老人說道。

“不用了。”馬克森冷冷地說。一種奇怪的感覺讓他不舒服，眼前這個老人似乎不像一個馬上就要和自己拼命的敵人，而更像一個老朋友，或者，像一個爺爺。想到這裏，他忽然感覺到一股怒氣燃了起來，這個人殺了我的全家!

“現在就決鬥吧。”他冷冷地說道。

老人嘆了一口氣，取出寶劍，跟着馬克森到了前院。

馬克森盯着老人，他靜靜地站在那裏，若有所思。

馬克森也嘆了口氣，擡起劍，向老人刺去。老人雖然已經上了年紀，但還是很輕鬆地躲過了馬克森的劍。他正打算回擊，卻突然叫起來：“你的下巴上有兩顆痣?”他眼睛大睜，深深嘆氣，停止了回擊，任憑馬克森將劍刺入他的胸膛。

老人直視着馬克森，嘴巴張着，想要說什麼，但頃刻倒了下去，死了。

馬克森看着倒下的老人，有些迷茫。發生了什麼?我……我剛剛殺了他?他爲什麼不反抗?他爲什麼突然問起我的痣?一連串問題在馬克森腦海裏迴盪着。

“哇，真厲害。”一個冰冷的聲音從他的背後傳來，卻沒有半點欣賞的意思。

“真厲害?”馬克森轉過身，一個很漂亮的女孩從樹林裏走了出來。

“你剛剛殺了你自己的爺爺。”女孩說道。

馬克森瞪着她，誰知她也瞪着他，說：“你一定認爲我瘋了，當我知道真相時我也很驚訝。”

“給你講一個故事吧。很多年前，有個殺手有了一個孫子。但是他不願意讓自己的孫子也成爲一個殺手，因爲他知道殺手的命運會很慘。他找到一個富貴人家，用自己的孫子替換了那個家庭的新生女孩。”

“你開什麼玩笑?如果本來生了個女孩，那家人怎麼會不知道?”馬克森冷笑道。

“那是因爲當那個人動手的時候，女孩僅僅出生了幾分鐘。這家人一直都想要一個男孩，奈何生了4個女孩，所以他們高興得沒有意識到孩子已經被換了。後來，那個人將女孩訓練成了一個殺手。三年前的一天，有人出錢讓他們殺光一家人，正是孫子換去的富貴人家，而孫子卻因爲在國外上學而逃過一劫。”女孩頓了頓，嘆了口氣，“後來，孫子爲了復仇，殺了自己的親爺爺。”

她從口袋裏掏出了一張黑白老照片：“這麼多年了，我爺爺一直留着這張照片。”

馬克森拿着照片，這無疑就是自己小時候的照片，連下巴上的痣都一模一樣。

他閉上了眼，試圖平復自己紛亂的思緒。曾經反覆做過的夢忽然浮現在腦海裏，他看了看四周，意識到這就是那個地方。他剛剛爲自己的“家人”報了仇。他也殺死了他的爺爺，他在世上唯一的親人。

“命中註定的事，終究會發生。”女孩丟下這句話，消失在樹林裏，只留下馬克森一個人。他站在偌大的莊園裏，這個無數次夢到過的地方，也許他會一直夢下去，也許再也不會夢到。

Revenge of a bravo

Markson had always dreamed about a same place. Over and over again.

It was really weird, but Markson ignored it because he had an more important thing to do-- revenge.

He had been a carefree boy until all of his families were killed three years ago. Fortunately, he survived while he was studying overseas. He gave up studies to lean technique of bravo. He became a bravo and eventually, he determined to avenge for his family!

Now, he was standing in front of an ancient manor. The manor looked peace and quiet with birds chatting in the trees. Markson had never been a beautiful place like this, the owner must have spent oceans of time to manage it. He took a deep breath and knocked the door.

The door opened. An old man with a wrinkled face and snow-white beard came out and looked at Markson.”You must be Markson, come in, come in.” He said ,smiling friendly.

Markson was bewildered and confused by his kindness. Was he the bravo who killed his families?

Yes, it was he man was the enemy whom he had been looking for. “Markson, your letter said that you want to have a duel with me?” Said the man graciously.

“Yes.”Markson replied simply.

“Well, do you want some food first? I mean, you walked all the way here, you must be hungry.” said the old man.

“No, thank you.“ Markson said coldly. It was queer indeed. This man did not like an enemy who were about to kill him or be killed but an old friend, or a grandfather. As he thought of that, he felt he was heated man facing me killed my family!

“Let’s just do it now.”he said ruthlessly as he turn around and walk to the dooryard.

The old man signed and followed him to the dooryard with a sword in his hand.

Markson glared at the old man who was standing there quietly with a thoughtful expression on his face.

Markson signed too. He held up his sword, and then thrust it to the old man.

The old man tried to dodge and fight back when he suddenly cried:”Are there two moles in your chin?” His eyes was wide open but then he signed and stopped dodging as Markson stabbed him in the chest.

The old man gazed at Markson, opened his mouth, trying to say something, but then he collapsed . He died.

Markson looked at the old man’s body. What was happening? Did I just kill him? Why didn’t he fight back?Why he asked me about my moles? I avenged my family, but why I’m still sad? Markson suddenly felt lost.

“Whoa, good job.“ a cold voice called out that did not sound appreciate at all. Markson turned around as he saw a beautiful woman walking out of the bushes near the dooryard.

“Good job?“ Markson repeated in confusion.

The women said:”You just killed your own grandfather.“

Markson goggled at her.

“You must think that I’m crazy.“ she said as she goggled back at him,“ I was surprised as you are when I knew the truth as well.“

“Let me tell you a story. A man had a grandson many years ago. But he was a bravo. He knew it was a terrible job and he didn’t want his grandson to be a bravo as well. So he found a rich family and replaced his grandson there instead of the new girl the family had.“

“Are you kidding me?If the rich family had a girl,why didn’t they notice it?“ Markson said disdainfully.

“That’s because she was borned a few minutes in hospital until the family found ‘the baby’ was a family had four girls and they wanted a boy eagerly, they were so happy that they didn’t aware the baby had been replaced. Anyway, the man took the girl with him and trained her to be a bravo as well. One day of three years ago, someone paid them to kill a family, which was the rich family that the grandson were in, the girl’s real family.“ She paused for a moment, signed,“then, the grandson came over and killed his real grandfather for revenge.“

She took out an old picture from her pocket:”This is a picture my grandfather had kept for many years. “

Markson got the picture on which the baby was himself doubtless.

He closed his eyes, tried to calm himself down. The dreams that he had over and over again suddenly emerged in his mind. He looked around, realized that this manor was just the place in his dreams. He felt he was breaking apart.

He had just revenged for ‘his’ family.

He had just killed his own grandfather, the only relative he had.

“What’s meant to be will always find a way.“with these words, the woman disappeared in the bushes and vanished away. Markson stood alone, looking around the old manor that had been in his dream and might be dreamed again and again.
