1、通讀全文，理清時態，圈出主謂賓。

四級翻譯 6 大技巧

1、合譯

這個技巧在四級中運用的非常之多，兩個較簡短的中文句子也可以合譯成一句英文，可以用連詞來連接，常使用定語從句翻譯。

例如：北京烤鴨源於600年前的明代。來自全國各地的廚師被挑選出來到京城爲皇帝做飯。(2020 年9月四級真題)

[參考譯文] Beijing roast duck originated in the Ming dynasty 600 years ago, when chefs from all over the country were selected to cook for the emperor in the capital.

[分析]這裏就是運用了合譯的技巧，when 指代 600 years ago。

2、詞性轉換

在漢譯英中，我們通常會進行詞性轉換，尤其是名詞、動詞、形容詞這三種詞性，經常會進行轉換。漢語多用動詞，英語多用名詞。

例如：這本書反映了 30 年代的中國社會

[參考譯文] The book is reflection of Chinese society in the1930s.

漢語句子中“反映”是動詞，英語句子中則換成了名詞。

3、語態轉換

在英語中被動語態 (be done) 的使用頻率要遠遠高於漢語。所以在漢譯英中，我們儘可能多的使用被動語態。

4、增詞

由於漢語中，我們說話會省略，所以在漢譯英中，爲了完整表達中文的含義，有時需要增加英語詞語。

例如：中國給數百萬在線零售商以極具競爭力的價格銷售商品的機會(2015年6月四級真題)

[參考譯文] China provides millions of online retailers with an opportunity to sell their goods at a very competitive price.

[分析]銷售商品，其實就是銷售零售商他們的商品，其中的 their就是根據譯文需要添加上的。

5、減詞

這個技巧應該最受歡迎，在忠實於原文的情況下，咱們能少翻譯一點是一點，還能避免翻譯錯誤。在漢譯英中，有些刪除也不影響句意的詞，我們可以省略。

例如“經濟領域的改革“中的“領域”一詞可以省略，只譯成“reforms in the economy”或“economic reforms”就足以表達原文中的信息。

譯文：Since ancient times, the seal has been the symbol of status and power.

Sth which starts from...to...， is the +最高級+ in the world.......從...開始，到...，是世界上最......(18 次)。

真題: 大運河北起北京，南至杭州，是世界上最長的人工河。(21年12月四級)

譯文: The Grand Canal， which starts from Beijing in the North to Hangzhou in the south, is the longestzman-madeRiver in the world.

6、A enjoys great popularity .......受歡迎。(8 次)

真題：龍井茶獨特的香味和口感爲其贏得了“中國名茶”的稱號，在中國深受大衆的歡迎，在海外飲用的人也越來越多。(2021.6四級真)

譯文: Winning the title of China's Famous Tea for the unique fragrance and flavour, Longjing enjoys great popularity at home and an increasing number of consumers abroad.

7、It is one of the+形容詞最高級... 它是...最...之一。(18 次)

真題: 它是中國歷史上最宏偉的工程之一(21年12月四級)

譯文: It is one of the greadest projects in Chinese history.

8、It is universally acknowledged as...... (9 次)它被普遍認爲是......。

真題：盧溝橋被公認爲石橋建築史上的一座豐碑。(22 年6月六級）

譯文: The Lugou Bridge is universally acknowledged as a monument in the architectural history of stone bridges.

9 、A is the birthplace of...and plays an important part in.......是......的發源地，在......中發揮着重要的作用。(6次)

真題：是長江的發源地。(17 年6 月四級).

譯文：....which is the birthplace of the Yangtze River.

10、Yunnan, with the average altitude of..., is a province.....是中國的一個省份，平均海拔......。(4 次)

真題: 青海是中國西北部的一個省份，平均海拔 3000 米以上。(21年6月六級)

譯文: Qinghai is a province in northwest China with anaverage altitude of over 3, 000 meter.

11、..., most of whom/that/which... .......他們大多數.....(14 次)

真題：雲南居住着 25 個少數民族，他們大多有自己的語言習俗和宗教 (21年6月六級)譯文: Yunnan is home to 25 ethnic minorities, most ofwhom have their own language customs and religions.

12、With a total area/length of... (數字) square meters(17 次)

真題：總建築面積 55 萬平方米。(22年9 月六級)

譯文: With a total construction area of 550,000 squaremeters.

13、One...the other...另一個......。(9 次).....

真題:一件是登長城，另一件是北京烤鴨。(20 年9 月四級)

譯文:One is to climb the Great Wall, and the other is to eatPeking duck.

14 、A contributes to doing sth......有助於.....(12 次)

真題：經常喝龍井茶有助於減輕疲勞，延緩衰老。(21年6 月四級）

譯文: Drinking Longjing tea frequently contributes toalleviating fatigue and delaying the aging process.

15 、... which was built in....... is...meters long and....meters wide.(5 次)建在/於.....，長.....，寬....。

真題: 趙州橋建於隋朝，公元 605 年左右，長50.82米，寬 9.6米。(22年6月六級)

譯文: The Zhaozhou Bridge ，which was built in the SuiDynasty around 605 AD , is 50.82 metres long and 9.6metres wide.

譯文: The CCTV Headquarter Building is located in Chaoyang District.

17、...not only..., but also.........不僅......,而且... (39 次)

真題：不僅是一種實用物品，也是一種藝術形式。(22 年9月六級)

譯文：......not only a practical article, but also an art form.

18、......was originally/mainly produced in+地點(7次)原產於/主要產自.....

真題：鐵觀音原產於福建省安溪縣西坪鎮。(21年6月四級)

譯文：Tieguanyin is originally produced in Xiping Town，AnxiCounty, Fujlan Province.
