1、事實狀況題：

這種題型是指根據原文中提供的信息(同義詞)尋找相對應的正確答案。在答題之前應分析四個選項相互之間的聯繫，通過其之間的差異或共性找出線索是解題之妙方。

【例1】 2000.6 英語四級聽力題

M: How are you getting on with your essay, Mary? I’m having a real hard time with mine.

W: After two sleepless nights, I’m finally through with it.

Q: What do we learn from this conversation?

A) The man thought the essay was easy.

B) They both had a hard time writing the essay.

C) The woman thought the essay was easy.

D) Neither of them has finished the assignment yet.

【預測】 選項都提到essay，聽時一定注意關於雙方essay的看法。

【解析】 兩人對話均對這個論文發表意見“having a real hard time(費了九牛二虎之力)”、“two sleepless nights(熬了兩個通宵)”，可見兩者都覺得論文難寫，與B答案相對應。A、C與原文相反。女士說“I’m finally through with it”表示已經寫完，故排除D。

【例2】 2000.6 英語四級聽力題

W: Where did you say you found this bag?

M: It was lying under a big tree between the park and the apartment building.

Q: Where did the man find the bag?

A) In the park. B) Between two buildings.

C) In his apartment. D) Under a huge tree.

【解析】 原文中男士說到包的位置是在樹下，所以選D。樹的位置“between the park and the apartment building”可知A、B、C均爲錯誤選項。

2、行爲活動題：

這種題型是根據原文中的提示判斷某人的行爲或去向，應注意問題中問的是誰的行爲活動，通過四個選項提前預測可能出現的四種情況，再來抓住與原文相對應信息或同義轉述的正確答案。

【例1】 2004.6英語四級聽力題

M: Mr. Brown asked me to tell you that he is sorry he can’t come to meet you in person. He is really too busy to make the trip.

W: That’s Okay. I’m glad you’ve come in his place.

Q: What do we learn from the conversation?

A) The man is late for the trip because he is busy.

B) The woman is glad to meet Mr. Brown in person.

C) The man is meeting the woman on behalf of Mr. Brown.

D) The woman feels sorry that Mr. Brown is unable to come.

【解析】 對話中“he can’t come to meet you”、“you’ve come in his place”和答案C中“on behalf of …”爲同義表達方式，都表示替某人去見某人。

【例2】 2001.1英語四級聽力題

M: I’m worried about those classes I missed when I was sick.

W: I’ll try to bring you up to date on what we’ve done.

Q: What does the woman mean?

A) She’s bought the man a pair of glasses today.

B) She will help the man to catch up.

C) She is worried about the man’s health.

D) She has bought the man an up-to-date map.

【預測】 選項中都提到“she”，不難預測判斷此題是考女士的行爲去向。

【解析】 原文中的“bring you up to date”和答案B的“help the man to catch up”都表示“幫某人趕上……”，均爲同義轉述。A選項的glasses是對原文的classes在讀音上的干擾;C、D都是誤解。
