1.現在進行時
其結構爲be的現在式(am, is, are)+ 現在分詞(V-ing)。
否定形式在be後面加not，疑問式將be動詞提前
2.動詞-ing形式的構成：
一般情況+ing;以不發音的e結尾的，去e加ing;重讀閉音節結尾，末尾只有一個輔音字母，雙寫輔音字母再加ing

Other “其他的，另外的”，後接名詞複數，有時other+n複數=others

一、須掌握以下語法：
1、名詞複數形式及其用法 (複習課本113-114頁)
① 名詞後面直接加s，如：apples, bananas
② 以s, x, sh, ch結尾的名詞在後面加 es，如：classes, boxes, dishes, watches
③ 詞尾爲輔音字母加y結尾的名詞，將y變爲i再加es，如： baby-- babies
④ 詞尾爲f，fe的單詞，改fe爲 ves ，如：knife - knives
寫出以下名詞的複數形式

以元音開頭，須與an連用的名詞有：apple, orange, egg, eraser
以元音開頭，須與an連用的形容詞有：old, English, American
如： an old ruler, an old man , an English teacher, an English class, anAmerican girl
3、代詞 (見課本115頁)
人稱代詞： 主語用主格， 動詞和介詞後用賓格 如：
1) 請幫我們找到他/她。Please help us find him / her.
2) 請把它給我/他們。 Please give it to me / them.
物主代詞：形容詞性物主代詞+ 名詞= 名詞性物主代詞
注意： 形容詞性物主代詞不可單獨使用，後面必須跟上名詞
指示代詞:
this/ that 只可第一次出現時用，回答需該爲it.
these/ those 只可第一次出現時用，回答需該爲they.

be動詞包括“am”, “is”, “are”三種形式。
①第一人稱單數(I)配合am來用。句型解析析：I am+?
例句：I am Snoopy.

②第二人稱(You)配合are使用。句型解析：You are+?
例句：You are my good friend.
You are a good teacher.
You are beautiful
③第三人稱單數(He or She or It)配合is使用。句型解析：She(He, It) is +?? 例句：She is a goodgirl.

④人稱複數 (we /you/they)配合are使用。句型解析：We (You, They) are +?? 例句 We are in Class5,Grade 7.

用法口訣：
我(I)用am,你(you)用are，is跟着他(he)，她(she)，它(it)。單數名詞用is，複數名詞全用are。變否定，更容易，be後not加上去。變疑問，往前提，句末問號莫丟棄。還有一條須注意，句首大寫莫忘記。
